International dance hall superstar Sean Paul is set to receive a honorary degree by the University of Technology (Utech), during its 2024 graduation ceremony scheduled for November 15 and 16, at the Alfred Sangster Auditorium.
This honorary degree will be given to Sean Paul in recognition of his achievements in music and for his contribution to nation-building.
He will be conferred with the Doctor of Letters Honoris Causa.
Actually, Sean Paul had opted to take up a career in music and did not complete his studies Henriques after he was enrolled at the University to undertake a Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
The entertainer was conferred the Order of Distinction from the Jamaican Government for his contribution to the global popularity and promotion of reggae music back in 2019.
