Reggae music lovers and lovers of music generally, are being served with a new weekly musical treat "Reggae Wi Seh" in Kingston, Jamaica.
Internationally acclaimed deejay DJ Rassarella, will launch this premiere music experience, which is a collaborative vision between the deejay and Marsha Riley, as the duo is channeling their passion for Reggae music into creating a unique event that music lovers can enjoy.
Starting on January 28, 2025, at Trottaz Grill and Spiritz in New Kingston, and touted as an early event, “Reggae Wi Seh” will take place every Tuesday from 6PM to midnight.
According to DJ Rassarella: “Our vision is to create an unforgettable experience that resonates with the true essence of Jamaica Reggae music culture. We hope to preserve Reggae music in its authentic form of the presentation and to educate everyone about reggae music on how it is to be presented.
Our shared love for Reggae music made us realise that something needs to be done about the presentation of the music by DJs and sound system operators,” DJ Rassarella highlighted.
With music by Zion Train International - The Marley's Sound, DJ Rassarella and DJ Smurf are billed as resident DJs. Guest DJs will be featured every other week and guest artistes will perform at the end of each month.

Music lovers can experience captivating performances, and an atmosphere infused with the rhythms and sounds of Jamaica, paired with great food, and the experience of being able to listen to Reggae music in Kingston Jamaica, the home of Reggae, on a weekly basis.
“We bring proven experience to “Reggae Wi Seh,” having successfully established and promoted the popular event series “After Dinner Sundayz” (at Tuff Gong Studios which was featuring all genres) and “Reggae Relay” on twitch-tv. This track record demonstrates our capability in creating memorable music events that resonate with audiences. So, we have a lot of experience presenting a weekly event,” Rassarella assured.
“We are advocates for an early event; we believe that after a long day at work, there must be somewhere people can go apart from being in the traffic religiously. We believe that people should be able to go out early and have a good time, go home, get enough rest to face another day, so that’s why we start the event at 6pm and end at midnight sharp,” DJ Rassarella stated.
