Clayton confirmed for Grand Slam Track.

Two time World Championship 400 meters hurdles bronze medalist Ruschell Clayton, has become the third Jamaican to sign up for Grand Slam track.

Clayton is the second-fastest Jamaican of all time in the 400m hurdles, and the first since 2011 to break 53 seconds.

She most recently placed fifth in the 400m hurdles at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

“I've worked so hard to get to this point and I'm ready to give Grand Slam Track™️ my all in every single race,”said the 2019 and 2023 World Championship third place finisher. “I’m focused and ready to be part of making history. This is just the beginning.”

Clayton joins National 100 meters hurdles record holder Ackera Nugent and World Championship finalist Roshawn Clarke, who have signed up with Grand Slam Track, the new global home of professional track competition, launched earlier this year by four-time US Olympic Champion Michael Johnson

The competitors are chosen by the grand slam track racing committee based on a combination of factors including recent performances, and the most intriguing athletes and matchups.

The winner of each slam group will take home $100,000 in prize money, and the 8th place competitor will earn $10,000.
