Legendary Dancehall heavyweights Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Nadine Sutherland, and Admiral Bailey are among 150 Jamaicans set to receive National Honours this Monday, October 21, on Heroes Day.
Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, will be awarded the Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer for their contributions to Jamaican music.
Nadine Sutherland, and Admiral Bailey will also receive Order of Distinction in the rank of Officer.
Renowned IRIE FM broadcaster, Ainsworth “Big A” Higgins is among the industry players to be recognized with a National Honour on October 21. Big A will receive a Badge of Honour for long and faithful service for over thirty years of service to the Broadcasting Industry.
The National Honours and Awards Ceremony will take place at King’s House on National Heroes Day, October 21.
